It was remembered that painting classes were taken by Francesco Matania, a musician and artist from London, England. The following two watercolours gives us a glimpse into the Tatura Camp 2, where the Dunera Italians spent the majority of their time, first at Camp 2B then in 1942 onwards in Tatura Camp 2A.

Thought to be a Luigi Poggioli watercolour of No 2 Camp Tatura 1941
