Rizzieri Ruggiero Alfonso Ferrucci remained in Australia and in 1948 married Marie Clare Chapman.

Last Friday at Holy Trinity Church, Upway, beautifully decorated by Mrs Kay Cooks, Marie Clare, only daughter of Mr and Mrs D.G. Chapman (Upway), was married to Richard Roger* Ferrucci (Sydney. Rev. F. Stuart Burnett performed the ceremony.
The bride was given away by her father and wore a gown of Chantilly lace over pink satin cut in old world style, and carried an 1830 posey of palest pink kalmia gardenias and orchids. A cornet of orange blossoms held her veil.
… The bridegroom’s parents are on their way from England and so missed the ceremony.
… Mr and Mrs Ferrucci flew to Tasmania for their honeymoon.
On their return, they will live in Sydney. (Mountain District Free Press)
