Adolfo Felloni was a terrazzo layer from Scotland. Adolfo had applied for permission to return to England to appear before the Italian Advisory Committee but his case was NOT APPROVED.

He applied for a reconsideration of his case on the 15th October 1943 as per his letter below.

It would be almost two years before Adolfo returned to the UK. On the 21st August 1945, Adolfo with nine other UK Italian internees arrived in Liverpool, England on the Nieuw Amsterdam as a ‘released internee’. His address for the ship’s register was 15 Hill Street, Glasgow, Scotland.

Adolfo went on to marry Concetta Forte and settled in Belfast. He never really got over what happened to him and always wanted to return to Italy.
