Antonio Angelo Di Rollo was born in Roccasecca (Frosinone) Italy on the 17th February 1894. He was a restaurant proprietor living at 92 High Street Musselburgh, Scotland with his wife Tomasina and family when he was arrested on the 10th June 1940.

A notification dated 15th May 1942 provided Antonio permission to return to the UK for further consideration by the Italian Advisory Committee subject  to certain conditions.

On the 24th October 1942 Antonio was released from Tatura Camp 2A for transfer to the UK.  He was one of six UK Italian internees who boarded the SS Desirade and was transshipped to the SS Johan Van Oldenbarnvelt which arrived in Liverpool on the 15th January 1943.

Antonio was re-interned on the Isle of Man.  On the 19th July 1943, he was released to work with ILB  (Italian Labour Battalion?).

Antonio Angelo Di Rollo was granted his Naturalisation Certificate on the 19th January 1948.  He was living at 64 High Street, Musselburgh at the time.  He died in 1964.
