Luigi Beschizza who had been released from internment wrote to his good friend Andrea Pini who remained in Tatura Camp 2.
After four and a half years of having very little say in his destiny, Luigi objected to being classified as 'fit' when he had an ongoing medical problem. Luigi refused to go woodcutting as his letter explains. In time he was assigned to work at Dookie Agricultural College as a steward.
